Molly Donaldson, President & CEO

With over 30 years in the construction industry working in project controls, project management and consulting, Molly has vast experience in a variety of industries, project scopes, and pricing models. Her expertise covers the range of project controls disciplines, including cost, schedule, estimating, contract management, and procurement.

In addition, Molly is a seasoned people-manager, and finds great satisfaction in developing new talent and supporting others in advancing their construction project services careers. At one point, she was directly responsible for over 100 project controls professionals on a single engagement, many of whom were entry-level employees.

Her project experience includes a vast array of industries – utilities, infrastructure, oil & gas, power generation, commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial and environmental. She’s managed cost for over $18B in cost reimbursable contracts and has completed most lump sum projects on time and under budget.

Molly completed her Master’s Degree in Construction Science and Management at Clemson University. Her undergraduate and other post-graduate studies were in Entomology and Experimental Statistics, also at Clemson. She currently holds her PMP, Certified Cost Professional (CCP) from AACEI, and her Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), also from AACEI.

Kara MacKillop, COO

Kara has over 20 years of experience in business operations and contract management. She has supported over a dozen start-up and early-stage companies with corporate organization, financial and risk management, and readiness for growth, in addition to launching several successful start-ups of her own.

In addition, Kara is an experienced contracts manager, drawing on her legal background, fluency in legalese, and keen attention to detail and the bottom line, to ensure that our consulting clients have all the contracts and tools in place to execute successful projects.

Kara completed her Juris Doctor and Master’s in Psychology at Duke University. Her undergraduate studies were in neuropsychology and business administration. She currently holds her Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) from NCMA.
